The Sunspel name was first introduced in 1936. In 1947 Sunspel launched the woven boxer short in the UK and in 1985 Sunspel appear in the iconic Levis advertisement with Nick Kamen. The super fine cotton range was introduced in 2006 and more recently they supplied underwear, polo-shirts and t-shirts to the cast of Casino Royale.
Using only their own exclusive custom fabrications Sunspel remains committed to meticulous craftsmanship. The company continues to specialise in underwear and t-shirts made from the finest quality cottons, using classic and more contemporary designs. Many of its garments are still made in the Sunspel factory in Derbyshire.
