The Falke Group, founded in 1895, is run by the 4th generation of the family.
The company name stands for the highest quality standards and a sophisticated design, offering premium product that provide great pleasure.
Franz Falke-Rohen founded his own knitting mill in 1895. His eldest son joins him in 1902 and guides the company successfully through the turmoil of the first world war. In 1918 they purchase the Wool and Hair Yarn Spinning Mill in Schmallenberg, now known as Falke Yarns, thereby laying the foundation for the further development of todays Falke Group. In 1920 a new factory is built with acquisition of new sock making machines. This same location still functions as the companies headquarters today.
The Falke scenery is populated by indefatigable globetrotters,stubborn individualists, polyglot adventurers, fanatic perfectionists, sensitive intellectuals and pretentious aesthetes. These are the ones Falke have in mind in search for the ideal shape and the best handmade quality.
